MGCLT successes in CBCA Shortlists

We congratulate several Trust alumni. Two Notable Books contending for a place on the Shortlists were created in part during Canberra Fellowships: Prue and Kerry Mason's Amazing Australians in their Flying Machines in 2013, and Ursula Dubosarsky's The Blue Cat in 2014. Amazing Australians has been selected in the Eve Pownall Award category for non-fiction works.

In more good news, Michael Gerard Bauer was shortlisted for Rodney Loses It! in the Early Childhood category. Michael is a Queensland representative on the Fellowship Selection Panel and a keen supporter of the Trust.

We had further Trust representation with the Early Childhood category announcer, Tania Cox, our inaugural Fellowship holder with Ann James in 1999. Our fabulous Queensland State Coordinator, Judy Russell, was a member of the organising committee for the announcement event at Brisbane's iconic City Hall.
