Sunday October 18 was a bright spring afternoon on the rooftop of the Art Deco Rothbury on Ann Hotel in Brisbane’s CBD, where 60 supporters gathered to celebrate ten years since the Creative Time Residential Fellowship Program commenced operating in Queensland.
Brisbane's first fellow was Adelaide-based Dyan Blacklock in 2005. Next year, Marianne Musgrove from South Australia and Lorraine Marwood from Victoria and will become Brisbane's 21st and 22nd fellows respectively. Brisbane-based authors Samantha Wheeler, Sheryl Gwyther, Josie Montano and Richard Yaxley all enjoyed 2015 fellowships, presenting as part of the celebrations about their experiences and projects.
National patron, Mary Wilson, attended the event.
